Obituary of Pura Phillips

PHILLIPS, Pura, 101, of Tampa, passed away November 12, 2006. She was born February 2, 1905. Pura belonged to Orden de la Lay Logia Benevolencia #16. She also belonged to American Legion 248. She worked for the National Red Cross during World War II, making surgical dressings for the soldiers that came from across the states. She was devote Catholic, loving Mother and Grandmother. Pura was preceded in death by her brother, Ray, sister, Maggie, and daughter-in-law, Pauline Acosta. She is survived by her son, Ralph Acosta III, two grandchildren, Mark & Pam Acosta; six great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren. hn glover death datepsychology and lung cancer
