Obituary of Helen F. Higgins

HIGGINS, Helen F., 93 of Lithia, passed away on March 14, 2007. She was born January 3, 1914 in Hoboken, NJ. She spent most of her life in New Jersey and moved to Florida in 1970 with her husband, Charles, who preceded her in death. She lived over 20 years in Boca Raton, FL and moved to Lithia in 1996 with her daughter, Pamela Smith, Son-in-Law, Steve Smith and her beloved grandchildren James (J.D.) O’Hara and Jamie O’Hara. She is survived by daughter, Margaret Valentine (Peggy), son, Charles P. Higgins (Butch), daughter, Pamela Smith, 7 Grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild She also leaves her beloved and only cousin, Earl Egolf, his wife Eleanor and children who reside in California; her family in Boca Raton and her very, very best friend; Lorraine Barnes of Denville, NJ and her family; Art, Robert, Lorraine and Rick. Mom lived a long, healthy and fulfilling life enjoying everyone she met and loved by all who met her. Her family will miss her beautiful smile, warm hugs, wonderful cooking and most of all her Love. She was a wonderful Mother who instilled into her children the love of life and importance of family. She will be greatly missed by all. A Memorial Service will take place March 23rd at the home of her daughter Pamela Smith, and the home where she lived. She will then be reunited with her husband Charles in Boca Raton.
