Obituary of Robert L Wood

WOOD, Robert L., 88, of Lutz, FL died September 10, 2006. As a loyal Husband and devoted Father, we will miss his love and hospitality toward all. He was baptized April 1941 in Boston, Massachusetts as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. His children faithfully follow "The Way" he left as an everlasting heritage; we endeavor to pass on to our children and grandchildren. His unfailing hope is to see all of his family in the "resurrection on the last day." As a master carpenter, he built, fixed, tinkered and created anything he could get his hands upon. His love of building was part of his hope that shortly we will "build houses and have occupancy...will not toil for nothing." A cowboy at heart, his love was the Old West. Whether traveling by old school bus, converted plumbing truck or Volkswagen bus, he always put on his pioneer hat and found himself out west in the mountains of his Grand Creator. Robert is survived by his wife Marcella, daughters, Andrea Knifer, Paula Barrows, Beverly Sifuentes, Bethany Cross, 1 son, Robert M. Wood, 16 grandchildren & 12 great-grandchildren, and his brother, Frank Nelson. He was pre-deceased in death by 2 sisters & a brother.
