Obituary of Rosario O. Van Matre

Saturday May 5,1956 - Thursday November 23,2023

Rosario, fondly also known as Chayo, our beloved mom, wife, sister, grandma, and best friend, is in heaven with her son Joseph, her mom, dad, sister Rita, and brother Victor.
She is survived by Her husband Jim, her daughter Suzanne and husband Kris, and her grandchildren Jakob, Victor, Julien, Adassa, and Marcus, mother- in - law Barbara, Mick, Debra, as well as her brother Diego, Pauline and  brother Alex and her sister Diana, Best friend Hazel and husband Dave along with many nieces and nephews and cousins and extended family with Chris Brown, Veronica and Robert Z,  Rick J. AJ and Dianerra , 
She had the most infectious smile and laugh and made the best red rice and chicken!
She would sing happy birthday to her loved ones in the most crazy voice that always made you smile and called you sweetheart. She was loving and tough and strong, and no matter what or where life took you She was always there for you. She was absolutely the best wife. mother, grandma, and friend anyone could have ever asked for .
She loved working in the yard, doing crafts, and watching novelas or the spanish version of Big Brother, haha. 
She was Amazing!
