Obituary of Kerry L Witt

Kerry was born on September 20, 1954 in Swainsboro, GA to Robert Lee Witt and Barbara Green. Kerry gained his wings on October 21, 2020 and is survived by his daughter Saundra Witt, son Kareem Witt, mother Barbara Taylor, brother Horace Hall, and his grandchildren Akef Witt, Bryana Wall, Chania Witt, and Mya LaMarr, Zaire Witt.Kerry attended Clifford Scott High School in East Orange, NJ and went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps. He was a life-long resident of Essex County, NJ and relocated to Tampa, FL shortly before his passing. Kerry loved attending church services, eating home cooked southern meals, and spending time with his grandchildren. In his youth, he was a talented basketball player and dancer. Kerry was a fierce defender of everyone he loved. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, October 29, at 10:00 a.m at Florida Mortuary located at 4601 North Nebraska Avenue in Tampa. Kerry will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery.  A special thank you to the nurses, doctors, and all the staff at James A Hayley hospital for their loving care and support.
