Kyle Bentley

Obituary of Kyle Bradford Bentley

Kyle Bradford Bentley passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the young age of twenty-six.  He was born in Gainesville, Florida on September 15, 1993 and was a student at the University of South Florida in Tampa at the time of his passing.

Kyle is survived by his loving girlfriend and partner in life, Jessica Holloway, and their precious two-year old daughter Kayleigh Marie Bentley.  Kyle’s other surviving family members include his parents, Brad and Debbie Bentley, his brother and sister-in-law, Chase and Samantha Bentley, and his nieces Emma, Elle and Emory.  He is also survived by his wonderful grandmother Sheila Jones.  Kyle was also very blessed to have many aunts, uncles and cousins who dearly loved him and whom he loved as well.

Everyone who knew and had the pleasure of interacting with Kyle came away happy.  Comments made by his many friends mention how kind and genuine he was.  It comes as no surprise that family, friends, and acquaintances are quick to share memories of Kyle that are full of kindness, love, compassion, and a brightness that everyone felt from knowing him.  Thoughts expressed by friends, family members and co-workers all carry the same theme – that Kyle was just a wonderful person.  He was very sweet and always wanted everyone to feel comfortable and included.  While Kyle had some struggles with self-confidence, he was drawn to and empathetic to others experiencing similar challenges and forged unique bonds with those who were fighting similar battles.

Kyle was actually all of the things he wished he could be; smart, funny, accepted, cherished, and most importantly, Kyle was so loved.  His quick wit was only outmatched by his ingenuity and natural intelligence.  Always a protector, Kyle wanted nothing but the best for his parents, brother, grandmother, nieces, and for the two true bright lights in his world - his partner Jessica and their daughter Kayleigh.  Somehow Kyle managed to live such a full life in his nearly 27 years.  He was able to do things that so many wish they could in a life time.  He had a family that loved him unconditionally, he travelled and explored, he attended college, he fell in love, and he became a father to Kayleigh, who is perhaps his most beautiful and long-lasting legacy that he blessed us with.  To the son, the brother, the grandson, the uncle, the nephew, the partner, the father, the friend and beautiful soul we all know, we miss you terribly but will carry you with us in our hearts forever.

“And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose”.  Romans 8:28
